HAPPY NEW YEAR YUP! JEWISH NEW YEAR...IS HERE. Yada know It’s going to be the JEWISH New Year. It's not just for Jewish people. GOD wants us all to CELEBRATE HIS APPOINTED FEASTS. For the next 10 days, you may notice that you keep thinking about stuff, people or events that you really don’t want to think about. It could be about people that have hurt you or people that you’ve hurt. It could be from years ago. Someone may contact you that you haven’t seen since who knows when. You might think somethings wrong with you like why am I thinking about all this yucky stuff. You might even think it's the devil trying to bug you so you try to ignore it.
Well that’s GOD. HE’S bringing up stuff and people so you can forgive them and/or ask GOD to forgive you for holding a grudge. Yes… that’s a sin even though it was their fault or they started it. You don’t want to pay for someone’s sin against you. Remember it’s really the devil that made them do it. Be mad at the devil, not at the person. The devil just wants to make people mad at each other and GOD. The best way to get back at the devil is to HONOR and OBEY GOD by forgiving. The reason is GOD wants to WIPE OUR SLATE CLEAN so HE can BLESS us. HE wants us to start the New Year FREE of anything that can keep us from all the BLESSINGS HE wants to BLESS us with.
Saturday, Sept 19th Sunset - Sunday Sept 20th Sunset is Rosh Hashanah. These next ten days are called the 10 days of Awe or Testing. After the 10 days are up then it’s Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) Monday, Sept 28th Sunset to Saturday, Sept 28th Sunset. Yom Kippur is a day where we fast (meaning eat no food and do no work), PRAY and REPENT. If…we repent for all the junk, sin, trespasses, transgressions, iniquities and "works of the flesh”, that GOD shows us, then we are "SEALED" in HEAVEN with HIM and HE will BLESS us for the next year. If you don’t or want to repent, then you won’t get ALL the blessings GOD really wanted to give you. Personally, the way our world is looking now, I’d rather be BLESSED and PROTECTED by GOD than not blessed and protected.
GOD wants to make sure HE gets to spend time with us because HE LOVES US. So HE made appointments for these HIGH HOLY DAYS. Passover and Yom Kippur
I just wanted to let you know because you might be thinking, “What’s going on? Why am I thinking about this? But it’s for GOD to release you from anything that could be blocking your blessings.
